History

Gateway Gas System Inc. was established in 2001 by industry leading technicians. Seeing a decline in the quality of customer service throughout the industry they saw an opportunity. Using the knowledge, skills and relationships they had grown throughout the years Gateway Gas Systems Inc. quickly became the premier company in the region.

In 2015 the company was purchased by Mel Stortzum from longtime owner and founder. Mel started his career in the industry back in 2001 with Gateway Gas Systems, Inc. as a apprentice under the leadership and training of the founders. In 2004 he went to work for Cee Kay Supply, Inc. and started as a Tanker Driver/Service Technician. He quickly moved to position of Lead Service Technician and then finished his tenure as Project Manager.
